Cookie notice

Cookies are small browser records. We use necessary cookies to keep sign-in and setup working and to remember referral attribution.

Effective 16 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-16

We use necessary sign-in and setup cookies, plus functional referral cookies. We currently do not run an advertising tracker or a separate audience-analytics integration. Google sign-in and Razorpay payment features can involve their own browser storage and network requests.

1. Cookies used by Conceird

Cookie names, purpose and lifetime
CookiePurposeLifetime
better-auth.session_tokenKeeps you signed in; HTTPS may use the __Secure- prefix. Related session and temporary Google sign-in cookies may also be set.Session configured for up to 30 days; may refresh.
rn_cvPrivate identifier and secret for an unclaimed setup draft before sign-up, whether you upload a CV or save manual details and preferences. The draft is stored on our servers.Cookie set for up to 24 hours and may refresh when saved. Draft access still expires 24 hours after draft creation; cookie cleared on successful transfer or discard.
rn_refRemembers the invite code used to attribute referral access and rewards.Up to 30 days; cleared on claim.
rn_onboarding_step / rn_onboarding_factsKeeps setup progress and temporary candidate fact-sheet edits between steps.Up to 30 days; cleared when setup is completed or reset.

Application cookies use HTTP-only controls to restrict script access and secure transport settings in production. The rn_cv cookie contains an access identifier and secret, not your CV or candidate answers. The separate temporary fact-sheet cookie may contain personal information you entered during setup; it is not an advertising profile. Browser or authentication settings can shorten lifetimes, and signing in again can create a new session.

2. Sign-in and payment providers

If you choose Google sign-in, Google processes the authentication request under its own privacy and cookie policies. Razorpay checkout features load its payment script on pages that offer checkout, and Razorpay may process device, network and browser information or use its own cookies to operate and secure payments. This can occur before you complete a purchase; it does not authorise a charge without your payment confirmation.

Provider cookie names and lifetimes are controlled by the provider and may change. Review Google’s privacy notice and Razorpay’s privacy policy before using these optional features.

3. Your browser controls

You can inspect, block or delete cookies using your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may sign you out, prevent setup progress from being saved, lose access to an unclaimed draft or prevent an invite from being attributed. Clearing a browser cookie does not delete the server-held draft or account, or cancel a subscription. Use the setup’s discard or start-over control to request draft removal; expired drafts are removed by scheduled cleanup.

Use Settings to manage the account, cancel renewal or request deletion. If we introduce optional analytics or advertising storage, we will update this notice and seek any permission required before enabling it. Learn more in our Privacy Notice or contact us.
